Lisa Lu, representing International Youth Tobacco Control and the state of California, was one of 27 National Youth Ambassadors at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids Youth Advocacy Symposium in Washington D.C. last week. She discussed with the team consisting of Senator Kamala Harris and Senator Dianne Feinstein and Representative Judy Chu about SAFE Kids Act and Reversing the Youth Tobacco Epidemic Act of 2019 since almost 200,000 Californian high school students use e-cigarettes.
